Boltight® D11 Hydraulic Closure System: 60 hydraulic closure nuts from 2-1/2" to 7", 80 link hoses rated 2,500 bar, air-driven pumps, manifolds and in-line gauges. Rented from Cleveland, TX with our own TFAs to install, pressurize and remove it on the D11 horizontal joint.

During a D11 major the upper shell has to be closed temporarily to take internal clearance and distortion readings, then opened again for the work scope. A hydraulic closure system does this without full torque or bolt heating: hydraulic closure nuts replace the top nuts on part of the horizontal-joint studs, are linked through hoses and manifolds to an air-driven pump and pressurize simultaneously, closing the flange faces with a uniform, controlled load.
GIMAN Energy rents the Boltight® D11 kit and sends its own TFAs. Before mobilization we review the unit's stud schedule with you and agree the pressure zoning and the closure verification criteria with your steam turbine TFA.

| Hydraulic closure nuts (60) | 14 × 2-1/2" · 10 × 3" · 8 × 3-1/2" · 8 × 4" · 6 × 4-1/2" · 2 × 5" · 4 × 5-1/2" · 6 × 6" · 2 × 7" |
|---|---|
| Link hoses (80) | 50 × 1.5 m · 10 × 2 m · 10 × 3 m · 10 × 5 m, all rated 2,500 bar |
| Pumps & valves | 2 air-driven pumps 2,500 bar, 2-way valve block, 4 in-line stop valves |
| Distribution | Tee blocks, cross blocks (1 in × 3 out), elbow blocks, gender changers, blank nipples and couplings |
| Monitoring | 6 in-line pressure gauges for zoning by nut size and continuous monitoring during closure |
| Fit | No casing modification; uses the existing studs, lower nuts stay standard |
You send unit, frame revision and outage window. We confirm kit availability, match nut sizes to your bolt schedule and ship from Cleveland, TX.
Our TFAs run the site induction, verify the tooling against the casing and set up pump, manifolds and hoses per the manufacturer procedure.
Hydraulic load is applied in sequence and monitored on gauges. Readings and any deviations are recorded with your outage team.
Tooling is inspected, packed and returned. You receive the field service report and calibration records for your outage file.
Based in Cleveland, TX. Registered on GE Vernova / FieldCore's SAP Business Network and prequalified in ComplyWorks (score 98, Severe class).
Part of the 26 4-way joint installs delivered on the North American 501F fleet in 2025–2026 took place in Canada.
Bilingual crews (EN/ES). Quotes in USD; temporary import coordinated with your customs broker or importer of record, project by project.
Closing the upper shell temporarily with hydraulic closure nuts on part of the horizontal-joint studs to take internal clearance and distortion readings, then opening it again for the work scope, without full torque or heat.
They replace the existing top nuts, are connected through hoses and manifolds to an air-driven pump, and pressurize simultaneously to apply a uniform, controlled load that closes the flange faces.
No. It is a direct retrofit that uses the existing studs; the lower nuts stay as standard.
Pressure is applied by zones and read on in-line gauges; joint gap is checked with your TFA at the agreed locations throughout the closure and recorded in the field service report.
The nut sizes cover 2-1/2" to 7" studs. Send us the stud schedule of your unit and we confirm fit with the manufacturer.
The 80 link hoses are rated 2,500 bar and the kit uses two air-driven pumps rated 2,500 bar, with a 2-way valve block and four in-line stop valves.
The kit has six in-line pressure gauges so the closure can be zoned by nut size and monitored continuously. The pressure sequence follows the manufacturer procedure, and the zoning and verification criteria are agreed with your steam turbine TFA before mobilization.
The hydraulic closure nuts range from 2-1/2" to 7" and the kit uses the existing studs; the lower nuts stay standard. Send your unit's stud schedule and we confirm fit before shipping.
The kit for your frame (hydraulic nuts or tensioners, hoses, pump, manifolds, gauges and adaptors), the manufacturer procedure, calibration records and, if you choose it, our own TFAs to install, operate and remove the tooling.
By project: kit rental, TFA days, mobilization and consumables as separate line items on the RFQ. Rate card on request. NDA available; POs through SAP Business Network or directly.
Yes. Our scope is the hydraulic tooling and its operation; cover lift, rigging and overall outage coordination stay with your prime. We align the sequence with your outage manager before mobilization.
Yes. Canada and Mexico / Latin America are quoted per project in USD, with temporary import handled together with your customs broker or importer of record.
Send us the unit, frame revision, bolt schedule and outage window. We come back with availability and a project quote.
